Tamarack Jacket

Sundays 3/2, 3/9, and 3/16, 10AM-1PM
Quilt coats and jackets are all the rage! Whether you want to give an old quilt another chance to shine, incorporate orphan blocks, or prefer to start from scratch and go for a simple unadorned look, you'll come out with a cozy jacket that is uniquely yours. The Tamarack comes in two size ranges and can be further customized by choice of pocket style, closure, or addition of a hood. You'll learn how to handle bulky seams, finish edges with bias binding, create a welted or patch pocket, apply snaps, and more.
Pre-cutting is REQUIRED and some sewing in between classes may be needed to complete your jacket in class.
This class will be held at our classroom in the Beacon Music Factory at 333 Fishkill Avenue.
This class requires 3 students to run.
