In this day long workshop, Sat. Nov. 4th from 10-3:30pm learn to make a simple sashiko table mat for your house. A perfect addition to your Thanksgiving table or just to brighten up your own table. Once you learn one, feel free to make more on yoru own at home.
Spend time around the workshop table embarking on (or continuing) your Sashiko Journey. This fall session, we’ll be working on a table mat. Each participant choosing 1-3 patterns and stencil motifs to suit their comfort level and design aesthetic. You will have plenty of in-person guidance Class kit includes all the tools and materials needed to complete one mat with out the fabric border.
All skill levels welcome!
This class will be held in the store at 171 Main Street.

Instructor Bio: | Rachel shares her joy of hand-stitching with adults and children alike, teaching workshops in Sashiko Japanese Embroidery Basics, Hand Sewn Drawstring Bags, and Visible Mending. Rachel stitches, mends, sews, reads teen fiction, journals, walks, and forages for natural dye materials.
