Fringe Dress
Fridays 6/3 and 6/10, 10AM-1PM
I've been looking for a go-to everyday dress, how about you? The Fringe pattern (max 58" bust/49" waist/59" hip) could be it! Make it as a dress or a blouse, button-up or pullover, with sleeve tab or cuffs. Also included are two cup sizes, optional waist ties, and OF COURSE it has pockets.
Techniques to learn or review in making this garment include:
*darts
*gathering
*sewn facings
*buttonholes
This style is designed for a light-to-medium weight woven fabric with drape. Linen, cotton shirting, lawn, or double gauze are easy choices; confident garment-makers could also consider dressing it up with rayon challis or crepe.
This class will be held at our NEW classroom in the Beacon Music Factory at 333 Fishkill Avenue.
