Beginner Garment Sewing, Adult Camp

July 24-28, 1-3PM
Are you a Sewing School grad who's ready to tackle working from a pattern? Or maybe a quilter who's intrigued by garment sewing? This week is for you! We'll discuss how to choose a pattern, how to take measurements, which fabrics work for which styles, pattern prep, layout and cutting, basic construction, seam finishes, and more!
MATERIALS: Expect to spend between $75-$200 on the fabric and supplies needed to make 2-3 garments (pattern, fabric, thread and notions). On Monday we will meet at Beetle and Fred to discuss the basics of fabric selection and pick patterns and materials; students receive 15% off all supplies.
All following sessions will be held at our classroom in the Beacon Music Factory at 333 Fishkill Avenue.
