Earth Day Shopper Sack

A tote bag class for all ages and skill levels. Inspired by the versatile totes she saw in Germany, Caroline created this handy washable bag with both a shoulder strap and short handles that can roll up to throw inside a purse or pocket. This beginner course is great for a younger/older duo or anyone who wants to reduce/reuse.
No prep required. Pre-washing your fabric is optional. We should have plenty of time to trace, cut, and sew your bags in class. You’ll learn French Seams (don’t panic, they’re really just a straight stitch….twice), how to reinforce high stress connections and more.
This class requires 3 students to run.
By enrolling in this class you agree to the following policies:
- Full tuition is due at time of registration.

You may withdraw from a class and receive a full refund, minus 4% processing fees, up to one week before class begins. After that time, refunds will be issued as credit for future classes. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or class credit.
- We're currently following CDC Mask Guidelines for Dutchess County based on the information here. Please check mask guidance prior to attending.
- If we need to cancel a class you will receive a full refund.
