Beginner Garments: Mave Skirt
Saturday, 8/27 2-6pm
Prepare to get swishy! The Mave pattern (26"-50.5" waist, 34"-59.5" hip) is an elastic waist skirt with a drawstring, inseam pockets and an optional lining. The skirt can be made with or without ruffles in different lengths to create numerous options...a veritable choose-your-own-adventure skirt. Participants will learn to select their size, prepare, lay out, and cut their pattern, and basic assembly, including gathers, sewing through elastic, and basic seam finishes.
This class will be held at our NEW classroom in the Beacon Music Factory at 333 Fishkill Avenue. Vaccination and masking required. Upon registration please email a screenshot of your Excelsior pass or vaccination card to learn@beetleandfred.com.
